Too much soy, too little cassava: food in the Metropolitan Regions of the Legal Amazon

This study is the first among a series of studies developed by the Instituto Escolhas with an updated description of food in the Legal Amazon and its Metropolitan Regions, based on data from 2017 onwards, since 2017 was the year of the last Agricultural Census and the Family Budget Survey (POF), which are essential surveys for analyzing the Brazilian food system. In this first publication, we provide a general overview of the 15 Metropolitan Regions of the Legal Amazon.
