The murky waters of the legal framework of Amazon fish farming

This study by Instituto Escolhas aiming  on the legislation that rules on fish farming in those states, with focus on environmental licensing procedures and the obtention of grants for the right to use water resources. In this publication, we charted the federal and state regulatory frameworks, highlighting why updating and operationalizing some of these laws should be the first step towards the boosting of fish farming in Amazon.
