Amazon gold? No way!
This is a campaign by Instituto Escolhas to bring the attention of investors to the destruction that the gold circulating in financial markets causes in the world’s largest tropical rainforest and in the lives of thousands of Brazilians. Rivers and people are being contaminated by mercury, huge forest areas are being cleared, and Indigenous Lands and Conservation Units are being violently invaded.
Investors who choose gold ignore its origin and don’t know whether it’s destroying the Amazon.
